Creating Our Own Golden Boys

Senior LGBT folks are often alone and scared. I discuss an upcoming personal visit I will be doing and talk about what we can all do to help those of us in need. We are all going to be there, sooner rather than later, and if we join together as an older gay community, we can take care of and visit our LGBT brothers and sisters to make sure no one is left to feel alone and abandoned. Please give this episode a listen, it can change not only the life of someone else, but it can change your own in so many wonderful ways!  Thank you.

The Secret of The Secret

Are you unhappy in life? Have you had problems meeting the right partner? Are you somewhat depressed and feel hopeless at times? I have been there. In this episode I discuss the philosophy that I have adopted that has turned my life around. This is not an answer for everyone. If you are constantly depressed or suicidal, please call an anonymous hotline right away. But for the majority of people who just go through life and basically feel down and alone, I relate how I changed my life for the better. Please, at least give it a listen. Hugs to you, Joey

Our Identity

Not sure if this was a good idea, but I purposely messed myself up a bit so I could have some fun. This won't be a regular thing, fear not. But I hope you get a laugh, or a nice memory from it. A more serious look at Our Identity will be on the YouTube Channel for this podcast. The Channel name is An Older Gay Guy Show.

Fear and Anxiety

As we age, it is not uncommon to have growing fear and anxiety about the future. In many cases, these emotions are not only related to health and finances but also to a sense of losing your connection to the LGBTQ+ community. In this episode, I tell you a bit more of my own history of fear and anxiety, and we look at an article that gives us '5 Ways to Overcome Fear and Anxiety'.
