Gay Health 3- The Fear of Colonoscopies
A discussion about the importance of screening for
colorectal cancer. If you are approaching age 50, it is
imperative you have this important procedure. I had been petrified
beyond belief about having a colonoscopy due to a previous test I had
done more than 20 years ago. I discuss the early procedure as well as my
personal experience with having a colonoscopy. I take you step-by-step
through what happened, and I think if you have fear of this test (like
so many do), please, please listen to this episode. It literally could
save your life. Thank you!

As we age, it is not uncommon to have growing fear

related to health and finances but also to a sense of losing your
connection to the LGBTQ+ community. In this episode, I tell you a bit
more of my own history of fear and anxiety, and we look at an article
that gives us '5 Ways to Overcome Fear and Anxiety'.

Expanding Horizons
Age is just a number, right? So maybe there are some dreams that we used
to have when we were 'younger' that we kind of pushed back for someday in the future,
or maybe we just gave up on those dreams altogether. But do we have to?
We aren't dead (or at least in most cases, LOL), so......can we still
make those dreams come true? I'm telling you about one of mine, how I'm
going to do it, and I ask YOU to conjure up those forgotten dreams of
your own. Maybe it isn't too late for any of us!

Gay Pride 1973
My history with Gay Pride Parades started with the 3rd Pride Parade that
Boston ever had, back in 1973. This year is my return to those
celebrations and I wanted to tell my story of why I haven't been to a
Pride event in many years, and the strange introduction I had to gay
life all those years ago.

How to Select a Gym
Have you ever wanted to join a Gym or Health Club
but feel a bit intimidated, and since you are a beginner, you don't know
what to even look for in a facility? Is it right for you? Will you feel
out-of-place in that environment?
In this episode, I explain the inner workings of a health club and give you advice on what to ask, what to look for, and what to avoid. I go into great detail to explain what to expect. This is important information for both Men AND Women and I guide you through the process so that you will feel more confident and comfortable in your search for a gym that meets your specific needs and is right for YOU.

I Must Forgive
I share a story that I didn't think I would ever talk tell on a podcast.
But having just had a birthday, I decided that I needed to tell this
tale, and explain why I feel like a free man now.
This is not the typical episode of this show. But if you are a person who has struggled with the past, running a movie-like memory over and over again in your mind, this story might be of value to you.
This is a VERY personal account (all names have been changed) of a difficult time in my life, when as a teenager, my parents died. I talk about the one person in my life, that I might describe as someone that I 'Hated' for 43 years.
